How ParcSync works
Center Parcs prices move around after you've booked, and lodges that sold out come back when other people cancel. Neither is something you'd notice unless you kept checking. So we check for you.
What happens after you set up a watch
You give us a village, an arrival date, a break length, your party and a lodge type. That's the same set of things you'd type into the search on centerparcs.co.uk, and it's what we send to their search, on a schedule, from our server. We store the answer each time: the price for your lodge, or the fact that it wasn't on sale.
Price watches run once a day, early in the morning. Back-in-stock watches run every 60 minutes, because a lodge that reappears is often gone again within the hour. Your watch page shows every result, and there's a button on it if you want us to look right now.
A watch stops on your arrival date. You can stop it earlier from the watch page.
The Price Promise, in short
Center Parcs sells some breaks with a Price Promise. It says that if the same break is later sold for less on their website, you can ask them to lower your price to match. Their terms are the final word, but the shape of it is this:
- It has to be the same break: same village, same lodge type, same arrival date and length.
- The lower price has to be showing on their site at the time you ask. A price from last week doesn't count.
- You have 5 days from the lower price appearing to make the request. After that it's gone.
- Not every booking has it. Check your confirmation, or ask them.
- The reduction usually comes off the balance you still owe, not the deposit, and can't be turned into cash or moved to another booking.
Our price-drop email gives you the two numbers side by side and a link to the search, so the 5 days don't slip past. Contacting Center Parcs is still your job. We can't do it for you, and we can't promise they'll say yes.
Things worth knowing
- Center Parcs only lists lodges that fit the party you searched with. If you set up a watch with a different party from your booking, your lodge might not appear, and we'd record it as sold out. Use the party from your confirmation.
- Prices on their site are for the whole break, not per night. We show them the same way.
- If their website changes and we can't read it for a while, your watch page will say so. If it stays broken, email us and we'll refund the fee.
- We are not Center Parcs and have no arrangement with them. We read the public search results, nothing more.
